Terms of Service

1. About the Service

Dahlialog is a web service for registering dahlia varieties and planning garden beds, provided by Viktor Sjölund, Sweden. By creating an account and using Dahlialog, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Account and Access

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
• You may not share your account with other people.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Membership and Payment

Dahlialog offers paid membership in two forms — monthly or yearly billing — processed via our payment provider Stripe. Payment is collected in advance at the start of each billing period. Prices are listed in SEK or EUR depending on your country.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time via your account settings. No minimum commitment period applies. Upon cancellation, the following applies:

• Monthly membership: If you cancel during an active month, you retain full access to the service until the end of the paid period. No further payments will be charged.
• Yearly membership: If you cancel during an active year, you retain full access to the service until the end of the paid yearly period. No further payments will be charged.

Example: If you start a monthly membership on March 1st and cancel on March 12th, you will have access to Dahlialog through March 31st.

5. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for any started billing period, whether monthly or yearly. Access to the service continues until the end of the paid period regardless of when you cancel.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Dahlialog — including images, variety names, and other data. Images are used solely for your own personal documentation within the service and are not shared with other users. You are responsible for using uploaded images in accordance with applicable laws.

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it for the purpose of providing the service. We do not sell, share, or use your content for commercial purposes outside of the service.

7. Personal Data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at dahlialog.com. By using the service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. We process personal data on the legal basis of contract performance and, where applicable, consent, in accordance with the GDPR.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use Dahlialog to:

• Upload images with the intent to harm, harass, or distribute illegal content
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or damage the service or other users' accounts
• Use the service for commercial resale without written permission

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Dahlialog continuously available but do not guarantee uptime. We reserve the right to modify, pause, or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice. We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, you will be notified by email or a clear notice within the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

Dahlialog is provided as-is. Viktor Sjölund is not liable for any data loss, downtime, or damage arising from use of the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall first be resolved through dialogue, and secondarily through Swedish courts of general jurisdiction.
